Terms and Conditions for Sense Experiences

1.Introduction

​

​Welcome to Sense Experiences, which is part of a legally registered Spanish cooperative called El Centro de Inglés Higgins S COOP., with a fiscal registration number NIF: F13967203. 

These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) outline the agreement between you (the "Customer") and Sense Experiences ("we", "us", "our") for the provision of our wine, gastronomy, and culture tours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to abide by these T&Cs. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

2. Travel Agency Bond Insurance

​

In accordance with the European Union Package Travel Directive (EU2015/2302), El Centro de Inglés Higgins S COOP maintains insurance coverage through the Seguro de Caución (Travel Industry Bond) with a value of €60,000. This coverage is provided by MARKEL Insurance SE, Sucursal en España under Policy Number 025S00121CAV.

3. Booking and Payment

​

Booking Process: To book a tour with us, please complete the booking form and provide the necessary details, including any special requirements. Bookings can be made through our website, by email, or by phone.

Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour price is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The final balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the tour departure date. If the booking is made within 60 days of departure, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

Payment Methods: Payments are usually made by bank transfer, or other methods specified at the time of booking. Credit card bookings can be discussed, and additional fees may apply for credit card payments.

Invoices/Receipts: All official invoices/receipts will be issued by El Centro de Inglés Higgins S COOP (NIF: F13967203).

 

4. Tour Inclusions

Our tours generally include the following:

- Hotel accommodation (based on the chosen package)

- Transport via coach, which is hired from a reputable coach company

- Meals (as detailed in the itinerary)

- Wine tastings and gastronomic experiences (as specified in the itinerary)

- Cultural visits and activities as part of the scheduled program

Please note that flights are not included in the price of the tour. The Customer is responsible for booking their own flights to and from the tour departure location.

5. Tour Prices

​

The prices provided on our website or through our booking system include the services mentioned above, unless otherwise stated. Prices are quoted in pound sterling (but prices can be provided in any currency required). We reserve the right to amend prices if there are changes in the costs of the services we provide, including transport, accommodation, or meals.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities

​

Travel Insurance: Customers are required to obtain suitable travel insurance for the duration of the tour. Insurance should cover aspects such as medical emergencies, cancellations, travel delays, loss of baggage, and personal liability.

Health and Fitness: The Customer is responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physical condition to participate in the activities included in the tour. If you have any medical conditions or special needs, please inform us at the time of booking.

Documents: The Customer is responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents (e.g., passport, visas) to enter the countries included in the tour.

7. Changes to Bookings

​

Customer-Initiated Changes: If you wish to amend or cancel your booking, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible. Changes may be subject to additional charges, depending on the timing of the request.

Our Changes: While we make every effort to deliver the tour as described, we reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary or other elements of the tour. If any major changes occur (e.g., changes in destination or significant alterations to the tour schedule), we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and offer you a suitable alternative or a refund.

 

8. Cancellations and Refunds

If you wish to cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees will apply based on when we receive your cancellation notice:

More than 60 days before departure Loss of deposit (20%)

15-30 days before departure 50% of the total tour price

14 days or less before departure 100% of the total tour price

If we need to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., insufficient bookings, force majeure, or other external factors), we will offer you a refund or an alternative tour of equal value. We will not be liable for any additional costs such as flights or travel insurance.

9. Liability

​

Tour Activities: We will make every effort to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers during the tour. However, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings that occur during the tour unless caused by our negligence.

Force Majeure: We will not be held responsible for any disruptions or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or strikes.

Customer Conduct: The Customer agrees to behave responsibly and respectfully during the tour. We reserve the right to remove any Customer from the tour if their behaviour endangers others or disrupts the experience.

10. Personal Data:

​

We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal information. The personal data you provide during the booking process will be used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling your booking and providing you with the best service.

 

11. Complaints and Disputes

​

If you have any complaints during your tour, please notify your tour guide or our representative immediately, so we can address the issue promptly. If your complaint is not resolved during the tour, please send a written complaint to us within 14 days of your return. We will make every effort to resolve the matter.

12. Governing Law

​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country in which our company is registered (Spain). Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that country.

 

13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

​

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of the update.
